In 1984 several of our Danbury residents represented us at the 300th anniversary of Danbury, Connecticut.
A year later in 1985 a party of visitors came from Danbury, Connecticut  to visit our Danbury for just one day and
we had a wonderful time together at the Warren Golf Club and then our Danbury Palace.  Since then there
have been a number of personal visits made, and we have accumulated a number of memorabilia
from our US cousins.

Some 20 years ago the Rev. Mary Lou Howson from the First Congregational Church came and led one of our
services at our United Reformed Church (formerly the Congregational Church).

Visitors from Danbury CT have planted trees on two occasions to honour our links on Elm Green, behind
the war memorial (the latest in the photograph to the left).

Below are the documents exchanged and presented during the 1984 visit to their 300th anniversary.
